Harry and David make it easy to get a discount on qualifying orders. There are two methods from which you can get a discount: a promotional link or a coupon code. 1.) Coupons codes: This is the most common way to get a discount, and just involves typing in a code at checkout. (See example on right) Under “order summary” you’ll see a box that says “enter coupon code,” and after you do, just click, “apply.”

If the code is valid you’ll get a message that says, “coupons applied,” and will list the details of the promotion(s) that you qualify for. 2) Promotional links: Many times Harry & David will run exclusive promotions and sales. When they do, they will promote them with banners and text links detailing specific discounts. Just by clicking on them, you will be taken to their site where the discount will automatically be applied. You’ll see the old price crossed out, and the new, lower one in red.

Does Harry & David offer a free shipping promotion?

Yes, he good news is that much of the time there is a code available for free delivery. The only caveat is that there is always a minimum purchase amount. During peak holiday seasons that amount is as low as about $49, and other times of the year it’s closer to $100. Note that during checkout you have to click “show shipping rates” in order to see how much you save if your order qualifies to ship free. Note that free shipping is almost always a better deal than their 10% off code. On average, shipping costs about 12-15% of the order total, unless you are spending over $200, in which case you’ll have to do the math.

fresh pears from harry and david

Harry & David has the best gourmet fruit online

Since the early 20th Century the Rosenberg family, with sons Harry & David, were growing pears in the Rogue River Vally in Southern Oregon. The sons officially took over the business in 1914, and kept it going through the Great Depression by selling the idea of sending pears as gifts to businesses. They’ve expanded a lot since the early days, but they are still the top name for sending fruit and gourmet gifts like their pears, Honeybells, and Moose Munch popcorn. Hi Bekki – Thanks for the note; I forwarded it directly to Harry and David, along with your earlier request to bring back their 10% off $100+ on-site code.

I just combined the Mother’s Day discount with the promotional code for free shipping. I ended up sending two gourmet pear baskets for about $20 each, including delivery. You really can’t beat a deal like that! (I wish I knew about these coupons before Christmas)

Hi – I’ve noticed that certain fruits seem to be seasonal, so is there any way to tell (a calendar?) when they should be ordered to ensure they are at the peak of freshness and ripe? I ordered a box of pears a while ago, and they arrived very firm. It probably took a week before I could eat one. Also, back then I didn’t know that Harry and David offered coupons online, so I paid full price to boot! If there is such a thing, it would be very useful.

I am choosing between a tabletop christmas tree at your site or at gardeners supply. I buy one every year for my patents. your forest themed one is cuter this year, but the one they offer is $69 to your $99. any chance you’d like to price match for a repeat customer?
